I've pwned the effing ess out of turtles 300 times the size of that in FF13.

Also, if someone was to ever kill a :turtle: (I say "was to ever" because it hasn't happened yet), it would probably drop a good 75 platinum ingots and 10 traqezoidhedrons.

You're crazy. Look at that lame little thing. It's barely a hatchling. Even a shaolong gui would eat a bowl of those for breakfast.

The true answer was sometime back in March of this year, someone (I don't remember who) gave a new person realized that turtles back then are the equivalent of our pocket :ninja: now. And decided to be nice and give a new member one. I remember typing that turtles are for awsomeness, not new people. Then another person, this time a newer member handed another new person one. (Moneky see, monkey do). And it spread like a wild fire.

See that's the thing, you call it little but in reality it's actually scaled down to .00000000000000135x normal size to fit into the forum as an emoticon. It actually would tower over a Long Gui, much less a Shaolong Gui, similar to how a Long Gui towers over your party.

Oh well. Hectonir would still house its legs, and the Fang/Lightning/Hope triple threat would chain its head into submission. Then it's on to the Highwind to finish it off.

It's like the Shaolong Gui - its legs cannot be killed. And it's normal stomp makes Bay/Roar look like a joke, not to mention it triple-casts Ultima with hardly any cooldown, doing enough damage to instagib any party not using Tortoise. Staggers also trigger an enrage.

And Hecatoncheir (sp?) is Vanille's eidolon, not any of theirs! Oh, and speaking of Vanille - it's death-immune as well of course.

I've been visiting this forum for quite a while, sometimes I've been an active participant, while other times I've simply lurked. If I'm remembering correctly, Wraith (among others) used to give out pocket ninjas ( :ninja: ) instead, but one day someone - who I honestly don't remember - gave out a turtle instead. After that, it just stuck. No conspiracy, no inside joke... just a gesture that for reason caught on.

This is all me assuming I'm remembering correctly, though I know it wasn't around when I first started here - after all, I never got one...

Close enough. There are no turtle overlords everyone knows Tapirs are behind the problems of the Ark.

Who all thinks they should Make turtles in the game as a inside joke? Like either finding a turtle mascot for shopping areas or something like that? ^^

It already is an inside joke. I would know since I help spawn most of them.

Right right. I started switching Hope for Vanille after the turtles changed from the greener guys to the greyer ones. Anyway, you're totally speculating. If you come up with a way to pit the forum turtles against my FF13 party, we'll have a way of gauging that.
