I've been a member of the forums for a while now, and am familiar with the Fishy stick given in the Elder scrolls section, but this new member turtle thing confuses me. Could someone explain how the whole :turtle: thing got started?

It started when the turtles first came to power, Back in the time of the dinosaurs. They survided by thriving in the sea for a millenia, biding their time until it was time to return to land. Once they did, their incredibly slow speed and movement captivated the creatures that walked on land. We didn't know what to do :unsure: first we started to just watch them in amazement as they crawled along the ground. But soon they invaded our homes feeding on our lettuce and other assorted vegetables. Now they run our own homes simply doing nothing all day except eating our vegetables. While we slave to feed them constantly they silently and slowly control every aspect of our society :ahhh: We can't stop them now... its... toooooo laaaate. We are done for, now they have invaded internet forums all over the world wide web. All we can do now is wait for when they destroy our race completely and enslave those who would beg for mercy. It is over we have lost :violin:

I've been visiting this forum for quite a while, sometimes I've been an active participant, while other times I've simply lurked. If I'm remembering correctly, Wraith (among others) used to give out pocket ninjas ( :ninja: ) instead, but one day someone - who I honestly don't remember - gave out a turtle instead. After that, it just stuck. No conspiracy, no inside joke... just a gesture that for reason caught on.

This is all me assuming I'm remembering correctly, though I know it wasn't around when I first started here - after all, I never got one...

It's our equivalent to a repcookie on other forums.

Who all thinks they should Make turtles in the game as a inside joke? Like either finding a turtle mascot for shopping areas or something like that? ^^

I actually have never gotten a turtle, i think it was me that really started it, or i was one of the ones that helped start it, as you know, i consume pocket ninja's souls, thus pocket ninja's that were given out were destroyed, thus, i gave out turtles, which i made out of pocket ninja remains.
