Forged in the blood and carnage of wars past, the cities of Falkreath and Elinhir have long stood opposed to one another. In wars past and wars recent, from the first battles the Ra Gada fought on Tamriel to the war of Bend'r-Mahk, Falkreath and Elinhir have been the military bastions of their respective peoples. Their bitter rivalry and long-standing hatred has resulted in millennia of struggle, and neither city will rest until the other is destroyed. A fresh resourceful supply of glass and diamonds appears in the mountains, one of the most valuable ever discovered. With the lack of resources from each city, they both ready their forces in an attempt to get to the resource point. Aware of a possible confrontation, each ruler holds their grip, and forces are about to be mobilized...
In what could revive one of the bloodiest conflicts in Tamriel, built on ancient, pure hatred.
Elinhir
As a crown city, Elinhir has been through much. It has suffered the loss of redguard sovereignty, forbear abandonment during the war of Bend'r-Mahk, and has struggled against Lhotun in Sentinel. Its high prophet, Ayaan-si, has heavily financed rebellions against Sentinel. Though he did succeed in liberating Totambu, Ayaan-si has alienated Elinhir and many of the crown cities from Sentinel, and thus Elinhir has lost a major trading partner and arms supplier in its struggle against falkreath. Ayaan-si has also drained Elinhir’s funds, making weapons acquisitions harder. The Empire, now crumbling without an Emperor, has no interest in funding or supplying Elinhir, as it fears the conflict will deteriorate the Empire’s tenuous grasp over the region. This has left Elinhir with only the support of other crown cities, which are in turn committed to their own problems. Without aid from other cities and faced with expensive imports, Elinhir needs a local source of metal if it hopes to maintain its military and help in the fight against Skyrim.
Falkreath
In the early days of its history, Falkreath was a simple military outpost that stood at Skyrim’s edge. The outpost took advantage of an oasis of resources within the mountains, and it prospered. When the Redguard horde arrived and conquered what would become Hammerfell, it was Falkreath that stood as a bastion against redguard attempts to push into Skyrim. As time went on, Falkreath would become a great military center, and if the Heresy is to be believed, it was the home of Cuhlecain, whose great general Talos would found the Septim Empire after Cuhlecain’s assassination. Though with Cuhlecain dead, there was no longer a grand leader to maintain its prominence. It found itself trapped in the shadow of the mighty Empire, no longer needed by the thing it helped create. Falkreath fell back into its old patterns of fighting the redguards at Elinhir, but eventually its resources dried up. After the war of Bend'r-Mahk, Falkreath was exhausted militarily. It could only manage skirmishes, and chose to focus on defense. It fortified its position in the mountains, and would often steal weapons and armor from the corpses of Elinhir skirmishers to make up for a lack of trade. Like Elinhir, it needs a new source of local resources if it hopes to regain its prominence in the 4th era and wipe out the redguard menace.

Roles
This is a character driven conflict-war RP. It is not like other war RP's, where you have 20 cities, and each person controls one city. We will have each person play one character (possibly two) with possible followers. In this RP, you will be on one of two sides, and will be against the other side, using a military, underground agents, or really whatever it takes to accomplish your goal: get the wealthy resource to increase the well being of your city and it's region, the place where your character lives, where his home is; the place he/she cares about, and where the people he/she cares about are.
Roles that need to be filled:
Elinhir (Redguard)
-Ruler:
-Political Officials:
-Head Military official:
-Minor/secondary Military officials:
-Agents (spies, assassins, stuff like that):
Falkreath (Nord)
-Ruler:
-Political Officials:
-Head Military official:
-Minor/secondary Military officials:
-Agents (spies, assassins, stuff like that):
Mechanics
I will have more of the mechanics up, as I need to speak with Ravanger and Webster.
First, read Duval's guide (it's a start), even if you aren't a military man, you will know how all the stuff works, as your character WILL be effected by military action, like it or not. It's life.
Duval's Guide: http://www.gamesas.com/?showtopic=810277
Another thing, we are probably going to use a periodic system of weekly periods or something like that. Most of you interested in War RPing know how all of it works. I'll post more stuff up later on the armies of both the Redguard and Nordic Military.
IF you DON'T know how to War RP, see me. I'll be glad to help you out. I'll even point you to some other people (Blademaster, PFA, etc, if they want to help).
So just go ahead and sign up, discuss, offer suggestions.
IF YOU WANT A CHARACTER SHEET TEMPLATE, TELL ME! We will be using the normal one, with the name, age, race, appearing age, physical appearance, skills (things you excel at AND do not excel at), mentality/mental description, biography, POSITION & RANK (should be included in Bio), and the faction you are on.
Like I said, I'll have more up later on the military of both cities. Each city will probably have a military of 20,000. A RPer will take the head general spot, then command will be spread under him, to the individual RPers who are under that commander.
