Two Game Level Issues : Othor Games

Bethesda Folks,
I've noticed a few issues after just a day of owning Brink.

1) When I try to 'Quit Game' from the XMB, my system freezes and reboots. This has happened 4 out of 4 times.
2) The game has been getting stuck joining games - the game goes through the initial map dialogue and just hangs. I have to 'Quit Game' and end up repeating issue #1.
