Two Issues - Help Please

Post » Fri Dec 11, 2015 7:26 am

Hi Guys,

Two issues I am having.

Firstly Frame Rate. I have turned off V-Sync through Nvidia and now the game runs very smoothly at 120 fps instead of being annoyingly capped at 60. I've looked into this and it turns out other have an issue of the game running at the speed of the FPS. I'm currently playing as if the game is constantly stuck on fast forward. Does anyone know how to fix this other than going back to crappy 60 fps?

Secondly, I am trying to increase food for Sanctuary. It is stuck at 6 food in red and everything else is green. I Just planted about 30 munfruit plants and like 20 watermelon and it doesn't ever go higher than 6. Can someone please explain how I get my food resource up?

Thanks.

For fps you need to keep it locked at 60, because the engine freaks out if you go higher and things start flying around the world.

To get some more food you actually need to assign settlers to the crops, they only automatically farm the first 6 crops or so you plant.

You need to assign more settlers to the food, 1 can only produce 6

That's 6 full point food sources an assigned settle will work on. The trees are 1 point each, so one settler for those 6. The rest are all half a point. So a settler can take care of 12 corn, carrots etc.

I'm really reluctant to do the settler stuff since I tried the tedious thing in Sanctuary but as far as I remember you mark the settler in building mode and then you get an option to what you can assign him, crops, artillery, cleaning toilets and so on when you have the item in sight.

Walk up to the settler in workshop mode and click command, then it will say go, walk over to the item you want worked and point at it and it will change to assign then click again.
