My mage was blitzed he was like high all the time cause his attacks didnt do nothin. His archery was 19 and his destruction was 50, on the same bandit ice spike took down a sliver of health and the bow one shotted him. so im rerolling a redguard

I like my mage, he plays fine. But I actually never use that Firestorm spell in combat because it takes way too long to charge up. Usually am dead by the time I can cast it...lol

It looks good to be a mage with the explosions and all but when you use that spell on enemies they just laugh and enjoy the fireworks before your blood is spilled. It's like celebrating your own death

The reason to be a mage = without 100% less mana enchantments it actually requires some brainwork to be useful. Thats why i like it.

I envy mages because they get better perks to summon stuff... i love summoning, but right now i'm a dual blade warrior with sneaky bow skills, after i'm done with him i'm rolling a mage :flamethrower:

Once you learn both Paralyzes(need Expert and Master Alteration), you are the best crowd controller ever.

Exactly, there is alot of tools in the toolbox of a Mage if you got the brains for it

I can't wrap my head around it, why people are whining so much over the magic in this game because I have no problems only challenges.
I don't want to be able to kill a enemy at higher level just with shooting fire at him\her, what's so much fun about that..

But I guess that is why people are complaining, they want it simple.. just spray some fire and the enemy dies like they do in the early levels, heh.
I say there is a reason for Paralyze, Fear, and that other spell I can't recall the name of that make them fight eachother and summoning the dead back to life, eh.. yeah!
