im not sure if this is the right area for this, but i have two requests for fallout 4:

1. Backpacks. Regardless of whether or not they have any effect on weight capacity, or simply as a visual, it would be great to add backpacks in the game so that it doesnt look like im magically stuffing 300 lbs worth of food, stimpacks, pistols, etc. in my pants. this would totally add to the immersion.

2. Dog characterization. Big fan of dogs. Particularly my husky. Could we get a few choices of what type of dog? Im not talking about running around the wasteland with a pug or a yorkie. Maybe just a few breed choices with the same build as the german shepard in the trailer, husky being one of them.

You think you guys at Bethesda could make these two things happen? I would appreciate it-other than that, cant wait for fallout 4 and to enjoy all of the efforts your team has put into it!! Thanks for making such an amazing franchise that pulls us out of our own world and slams us into a dismal and bleak one that is so much fun to play!!

with the PC version of the game this will happen in the form of mods.

Welcome to the forum! I do believe that they will add backpack as gothfather said, but no one knows what bethesda will add until the game comes out.

I guess i should have been more specific...these 2 requests would be for the xbox one, like a patch or something. As an xbox one user, i only get to hear about all the awesome mods that everyone does on the PC.

I hope the customization options are well thought out enough to include things like backpacks. With any luck the modders will have put this idea in the devs heads.

Also, Radpugs are a must.

Since the derivative statistic "Carry Weight" is based on how much you can carry and not much inventory space you have I don't think backpacks adding carry weight would make much sense. I wouldn't mind them as a cosmetic feature though, perhaps even add a bit of DT/DR against attacks from behind on the torso/back area.
