i started a new PC today and i ended up being surprised when i got two of the same enchantment in a boss chest, leather bracers of minor archery and iron gauntlets of minor archery as well...

is that supposed to happen or did i just get unlucky with the RNG involved.

It can happen. I got Novice and Apprentice Robes in a chest once.
