Yes, i am VERY excited :]

When I first heard about it, I was in the middle of playing Mirror's Edge obsessively, and all I was told was "Brink - Mirror's Edge with guns!"

There's isn't really much you can do to make "more excited" happen from that point - my obsession at that time being made better? - I've found more info which makes it sound better every time I hear something about it, but my excitement level is already maxed out. It's been kept at that level a LOT longer than any other pre-release anticipation since the first Assassin's Creed though...

As I have learned more about Brink, I've really changed my ideas on my character's outfit and class. I'm also pumped to be playing with such an awesome community of brother Resistance on the Xbox; we've already had some sincerely kick-ass experiences in Halo: Reach together. And Splash Damage knows what they want to create and how to fix all the annoying aspects of gameplay that I've hated (camping, sniping, idiotic movement physics, etc), which I have to appreciate.

So it's fair to say my excitement has gone up for this one.

It's weird that it's almost here. It's supposed to be ages away. II'm used to it being ages away. Does it even exist? Who am I?

This, actually. I'm just so used to waiting for BRINK and talking about BRINK and thinking about BRINK and now that its right around the corner, It's like I don't know what I'm going to do afterwards.

Of course, we all know that will be "Play BRINK" but it's like my personal schedule is on the brink ha! on collapse

i was excited ever since i heard about the game but TODAY on facebook they showed a preview of the mass resurrect grenade and that's awesome!

It is weird, isn't it? Brink to me is a lot of videos, details, spoken words, and text. It actually being a game that will actually be in my game system just feels...strange.

Considering I've been a fan for 2 days total, I'm hella' exited!

Two weeks feels like forever when waiting for Brink, but I know if I wasn't waiting for Brink for some reason, These next two weeks wold just fly by :down:

Only found out about Brink about two weeks ago and I've had it on pre-order for 10 days now. Didn't know anything about the game before hand, just saw a video on a game channel on youtube.

The game always felt so distant and far-of, but the closer it gets the further the reality sinks in that, yes, I WILL actually hold the game with my hands, see it with my eyes and control it for myself rather than be led around through a video.

And it's pretty damn exciting.

Honestly I don't think itll come close...sorry but with Gears 3, BF3, Skyrim and the New MW3...I don't think Brink stands a snowballs chance in a very hot place...just saying, those are some heavy, heavy hitters.

As for the Topic:
My excitement level has actually decreased a bit knowing some of the new things I've learned recently; decreased bullet damage, glowing weapons, wave respawn, buffs. It just went from a grizzled up Gears killer to a cartoony version of Gears with just as much lame sillyness, plus some.

Brink was always ment to be a Gears alternative (cus I hate it so much) and a "go between" between now and BF3...so it still will be but I have less expectations for it now. Currently, thats a bad thing for the game but as my sig. says...maybe itll be a good thing for me in the long run and I'll be pleasently suprised.

I thought last monday was may 2nd, so I was thinking one more week until Brink. Then I learned that it was in fact April 25th and it made me mad for the rest of the school day.

yea, as much as i already love brink, its gonna be a newcomer in a list of heavy hitters with very large fan bases. we can hope tho
