Two Worlds 2, The Witcher 2, ArcaniA all 3D....... Skyrim 3D

Skyrim to support 3D.....?

Would be ridiculous to think otherwise. There is no comparison to the beauty of glorious 3D in an open world.

The Elderscrolls had a motto back in the Daggerfall days...... "Live another life".

3D makes that happen. Simple.

+1

Do it.

There's a really good and verbose reason not to do it.

3D is [censored].

No inherent support, but I've been playing Oblivion which also has no inherent support with 3D vision and it looks good.

"Honestly, I couldn't care less - having to wear those glasses! I'm not a 3D fan. It ruins the image for me. I want the clarity." - Todd Howard.

Skyrim most likely won't have 3D and I'm glad for it. Spend that time on something better Bethesda. I support you! :)

I have yet to see 3D that looked like anything other than flat pictures slidging around in front of other flat pictures. Ugly, and distracting.

Stuff looks better/more realistic without 3D, IMO. At least, most forms of it.

No thanks, 3D is way overrated. And messes with my head.

Bethesda will not have to do anything, for marketing purposes Nvidia will create a profile and give tips, but I don't fool myself, the image is not as awesome as the hype makes out, but games that specifically support 3D vision do look good.

Wow lots of haters. I believe TH stated that SR won't use "gimmicks" such as 3D and move/kinect. I think theres alot of potential in 3D gaming a hile down the road when it gets more developed. So next TES game hopefully!

There's definitely potential for 3d to be implemented in a far better way...but as it stands right now it gives people headaches after long exposure, and the glasses are uncomfortable for people like me, who wear glasses already :)

I agree, but not the current way, they have to lose things like the glasses, while some very expensive monitors have managed this, it's restricted to one person viewing and you have to sit dead center of the monitor otherwise the image gets skewed, there are some projects still ongoing but non that have really been successful to date.

3D has been all the rage twice before now. It was going to "redefine" films both of those times. It didn't, and it won't.

3D is a fad that can't die fast enough.

3D on a 2D TV requires glasses. They invented 3D TV to eliminate the need for glasses.

LOL @ Arcania. That piece of [censored] shouldn't be given as example no matter how good it looks. It ruined a great series.

Bingo. 3D's been around for the better part of around 200 years and it hasn't stuck around for too long. It's an entertainment extension of coarse, but the inducing of headaches and seizures don't help it. Skyrim not supporting 3D is no big deal. Also every game you listed apart from Witcher 2 fails hard in the genre even more than Oblivion and Fallout 3 and as games themselves are not worth a look.

Unofficial 3D support will come. But it's not a popular thing.
