Type of PC I should get mainly for ESO?

Post » Mon Jan 06, 2014 8:51 am

So I want to get a PC for Eso because the consoles seem kinda over rated and PC's seem to have more games on them. I am not very familiar with computers for gaming purposes and was looking for some recommendations on which ones ESO runs the best on. Any help?

A nice gaming rig. Build your own. Don't rely on pre-built they're usually not up to snuff.

The smaller builds would easily handle any current games on ultra settings

Best to wait until the PC Requirements are released and then go from there, especially if you have a limited budget,

I heard about\ building your own a little while ago (besides DuckGrrl) but I haven't the slightest idea of where to start. Are the Alienware PC's actually as good as good as they say, or would I be better off Googling how to build one (haha, that probs wont go well :))

Alienware used to be a status symbol for some, but realists know they are just overpriced for a little extra customer support, and not much more than building it yourself or even going with a different brand.

Alienware were good before Dell bought them. They were pricy before but at least you got a very good gaming PC. Now it is just mostly way overpriced for a semi good gaming pc. It is just better to either make it yourself or go to a small pc store that make their own pc's and make one for you. You can come here and we can give a good idea on what you need, but the important part is how much you are willing to spend on the pc

I would go with his recommendation. Look around online for a reputable pc shop in your area that builds systems.

Most will build a system for you for a fairly small fee.

Thanks I forgot to mention the reputable pc shop. Some of those shops might have one pre-built anyway.

From reading the OP I doubt he's able to build his own rig.

Or if you have an enthusiast PC gamer friend that can help you out, provided he/she has the experience with rig building.
