3. Irrelevant. There is no trusted #3.

UESP has better organized more accurate information.

Wikia has more, faster, less accurate information

Both have their uses - I go to UESP first and then hit wikia if UESP doesn't have what I am looking for.

Historically, you can't even compare the two, UESP has everything old school elder scroll related

UESP is the information El Dorado of TES. It's been around forever and will be around forever, so far as I can tell. I only bother going to the wikia site if the UESP doesn't have what I'm looking for. That's rare, and usually wikia doesn't have it either. Or they do, and I don't really trust their source.

I use UESP, if for no other reason than because it uses less adware and tracking cookies.

UESP. Gives far more depth than wikia, and there is a history to many sections too as it has been around for several of the games.

Wikia if the site is down though (I believe they're struggling to keep up with demand right now).

I always end up back at UESP, wikia doesn't usually carry things like the ref-id numbers which is a godsend when trying to navigate some bugged quests and such.

Actually these people are only saying USEP because they've only been using it the longest. The wiki currently has more info on everything from Skyrim then USEP by far.

I use both either way.

I use them both. UESP is good for lore and looking up groups of items or what's in the game. TES wikia isn't as good with the lore, but their pages for quests and items are more detailed and their items have their own separate pages, instead of just being grouped into one page with no information or how to get them.

I use the wikia for more indepth looks at factions and people. UESP is more for charts and tables and lore.

UESP first then Wikia, UESP just has better information but Wikia has more generic information.

Title pretty much says it all. I'm just curious as to which one is more reliable/best, from a historical perspective, i.e. those that followed up their content since the old days. Oh, and if you feel that neither is a good resource, please, share the love.

Cheers.

I usually use UESP.

UESP is better.
The only thing Wikia has going for it is more pictures. But all we got to do is steal them and put them on UESP.

UESP
I sometimes check the Wiki to see if I can get some extra info, but I find UESP always to be superior in the end.
