Ugly, twitchy, Skyrim shadows

Post » Sat Aug 02, 2014 1:28 pm

I try to scrounge the internet for a solution before I come to a forum, and I've done practically everything, even a clean instal.

but I'm getting really gross and twitchy shadows in skyrim. It's really offputting, I've tried ignoring it but it keeps twitching and its blobby and it's really eyestraining.

I am also interested for a definite solution ... it's really insulting to fans that Bethesda launched a buggy console port :/

Just tossing this out there cause I'm familiar with this issue and feel this other one is small-but-significant but well: that sound bug where the audio cuts out towards the start of someone's sentence. Dunno how many times "Go cast your fancy magic someplace else" has come out as "go cast your fagic someplace else"

Do you want to remove them completely or fix them? I personally use http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/16464/?, make sure to follow the instructions. Gives you a decent FPS boost as well. The twitchy shadows gave me headaches.

I might have to use that if I really can't fix this problem.

Just try those shadow ini tweaks from the link on the youtube vid. They definitely get rid of blocky shadows.
