The thing about adding these in is that they come from a completely different story in a completely different time so they wouldn't really fit in TES. Plus the devs would probably have to come up with all new animations for them

Weapons from a science fiction story not even set in an Earth like environment don't really fit into a low fantasy themed game.

Pffft...curved daggers? Nah. Now http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Daedric_Crescent is a good curved weapon.
