No, but many leaders in war, especially nationalistic ones, are rather Hitler-esque. I doubt he was directly inspired by Hitler, but more by a broader group of revolutionary leaders.

Nord is not germanic. There is some historical tie, but you cannot equate the two. Every single warlord (jarl) in the course of history has/would like to expand their reach and get more lands. Giving speeches does not make one hitler; I bet Jesus made some damn good speeches (if he existed - but that's not the point), does that make Jesus a Hitler too?

No country every really won freedom or expanded it's borders by being peaceful. I'd warrent that the more peaceful a medieval nation was, the faster it was conquered by it's more bellicose neighbors.

The OP is reading too much in to it and making the sorts of vague connections you can use to connect pretty much anything, and I rolled my eyes a bit, but in the end there probably is just a teeny-tiny bit of inspiration from the most famous characters in all of history, don't you think?

ok comparing to Hitler may be going too far but to correct you, Norse culture does have cultural ties to German culture as Norse culture covers early Northern European culture. Also Hitler has been considered by many historians as one of history's best orators. So yes, I did pay attention in school.

If you want to compare Ulfric to a historical figure there are many better examples than Hitler. General Robert E. Lee comes to mind.
