So.. Ulfric's a Vampire? LOL..

Post » Wed Jun 06, 2012 7:55 am

Alright, during the Civil War one of my 1st prizes from Ulfric was a "Daedric Sword of the Blaze". Just recently I finally finished the CW and went in with Galmar and Ulfric to take care of Tullius.

Afterwards he says "Have my sword.. blablabla.."

"Obtained "Daedric Sword of the Vampire""

Lol.. what? So you're a vampire eh Ulfric?

(Find it funny too cause they both have the same enchant. Fire DMG 25 pts.)

Nah, that is a randomely generated effect. "of the Vampire" is IIRC the strongest or second strongest version of Absorb Health weapons. Sounds like a misnaming bug or glitch if it has fire damage.

Oops wait.. just looked at it again. It is infact Absorb Health.. my bad.

That's great.. i've been looking for that enchant.. but a LIL LATE (found a random Elven Mace with it a while back).

That's cool though I can dual-wield them and have 2 diff. effects XDDD

That won't work. Its artificial light. It have to be real light to kill of a vampire. Like the sun.

If Ulfric is a vampire he will not last 2 seconds outside in the sun. It just a name of a sword.

OK, so he'll use the Dawnbreaker instead - that should work.

What about the broom handles? :o

I suppose you could always drop a bulb of garlic on the floor as he's pathing and see if tries to avoid it.

IDK about that.. Ulfric never gets off of his Throne. Yet when you talk to him he says "Make it quick. I'm a busy man." ...

Busy doing what? LOL.

Well, I always put off starting the CW quest (might not even do it on my 2nd character) and I think it's after that when he never moves, but prior he's always walking into the war room and back. :P

Not really related, but how much of a bummer was it, that the big "Loot" reward for the Civil War quest was a basic leveled item you can find in any dungeon boss coffer?

They couldn't have taken the time to make a unique Armor/Weapon? Hell, I would have settled for Ulfric's Gag.

Well you can take the armor off Tullius/Ulfric at the end. And Galmar's got that cool bear armor!

Also, second half of your post is (unintentionally) very disturbing to me for some reason. ._.

Yeah, the Stormcloak Officer Armor is probably the coolest reward from the Stormcloak side, but it's awarded in the middle or near the end and not at the end. :P

What bothers me about it is that you get the unique armor the enemy! What's up with that?

"Oh, you really hate the Imperials, huh? Well here's their armor!"

"Oh, you decided to fight for the Empire. Great to have you aboard, now dress like the leader of the rebellion!"

You didn't get the Stormcloak Officer Armor from like the 2nd or 3rd to last Fort assault?

I went on a contract for the D.B. and one of the targets had the Stormcloak Officer's armor (exactly like Galmar Stone Fist). I stole and like to wear it everytime I show up to Ulfric's place. Its cool armor.
