Ho people!

good map bone collecter, ill try use that! If it doesnt work, ill try get the guy who does those elven maps to do one of Ulthuan, he may help

over all i can say we have progressed quite well. as soon as we get the Skaven done, we can move onto High Elves

LordHibernus, i have a job for you!

Can you create a script for a staff that when by default you attack, it heals allys in radius of 30?


Sure no problem. Do you want it to heal allies fully, if not by how much and what other effects do you want the staff to have, if any. Also, I'd like to get a hold of that storyline, I don't mind if it's incomplete.

I wont say heal fully, as it would over power Archmage class for High Elves, maybe 50 hitpoints, as most of their hitpoints is 100 or 200. Sure about the storyline, private message me your email adress and i can send it to you. bearing in mind only the high elf prolouge part is done, and afew details missing

Hmm, this needs a lot of work. No offense, it's just unfinished. I'll flesh it out and write the other quests and get back to you in a week. The staff script is done, it requires a reference so I put it in a plugin which I can merge to the master when needed.

Edit: I think everyone should put a tag at the start of every editor ID they make, just to make things easier to find. I used ul for ulthran, sound good?

Exactly :D i did say it was unfinished but you wanted it so BAM i gave it to you !! :D

I will have a finished version with the whole entire MQ for Skaven and Dark Elves on friday or maybe weekend

i was asking to use the archmage staff as a resource from tesnexus, still havent got a reply i planned to merge the script with that, eh shame

Btw civilian high elf clothes are the same as the ones shown in link, except their blue and white

I think the storyline would work better if the player was a high elf captain or general commanding troops to repel the dark elf invasion, also having to start a new game would be a drag. That's why I think instead of having to start a new game, the players character is asked by a mage to participate in an experiment to see if he can place your consciousness in someone else temporarily. After the player agrees the experiment goes wrong and the players consciousness is transported farther than intended, to ulthran into the body of an elven general (he could be in prison for treason as per the original storyline). At the conclusion of the ulthran quest the mage manages to reverse the process and bring the player back. I'd script the whole event to retain the player old character but allow for new character generation. What do you think of that direction?

what about keeping the openess though of having an option to be a Dark Elf or Skaven? is it possible?

Sure, it would be good to start the mod with a cool set piece like an arcane mages house. I think the main focus though should be the landscaping and the storyline. After they're done we can work out a plan for who does what so we don't waste any time. I'll start writing the storyline and give you the first draft a week from now. Would it be possible to have a fairly decent approximation of the landscape ulthran by then?

Edit: About having the option to become a dark elf or skaven: I think the mod is quite ambitious to begin with (or soon will be). I think we should create the high elf story and then work on the others. I would prefer one complete story then three unfinished ones.

Second edit: By fairly decent approximation I mean just literally the landscape no cities or trees or rocks, that would take a lot longer!
