Ulthuan mod plan

(This mod will not be based on the MMO. It uses the MMO for locations, landmarks etc. The sole of the Mod is based of the Table top game and Games Workshop's Warhammer Lore)

I started off with an idea for the whole warhammer world to be there, now, taking in advise started smaller. First, along with Ugylyx, we created a Skaven mod, but now moving on, I hope to merge that with an idea for an entirely new landmass, called Ulthuan, Home Of The High Elves. It will consist of a main-quest, hopefully more developed than the vanilla but Ill describe the MQ in more detail further on. On a simple Note, Ulthuan, home Of the High Elves, led by Pheonix King Phumbar, is attacked by its evil bretheren, The Dark Elves, lead by Lord Malekith. They Assault the Eastern side of Ulthuan, which has less millatry prescence as the threat is from the West, with the on-going threats from Chaos. The Skaven, however, landed in Ulthuan, hoping that in this war, they can take them by surprise, hopefully plague the country and then turn it into a breeding ground for their new plan of Half Elf/Half Skaven race. But put an end to that, for the start of your journey is not complex. No Matter wether your to fulfill the path of an High Elf, Dark Elf or Skaven, you will start in a dungeon in Chrace. The player (if their High Elf) was found guilty for a crime he did not commit, treason agaisnt the High King. He is aware of the danger Ulthuan, and the High king is in, so he must escape the dungeon at all costs, otherwise Ulthuan will fall to the fate of Dark Elves, or Skaven. If your a dark elf, its simple really. You were captured in the Battle Of Fell Landing, where the Dark Elves routed the High Elves, The High King's units destroyed yours. You must escape to let your Lord's know that when the Dark Elves progress across Ulthuan, The Shining Guard follow. If your a skaven, you broke into the dungeon to steal some food. In the chaos of being attacked by Dark Elves, you must escape with the food supplies or you will fail your hungry tribe who just swam from Nordland to Ulthuan.

In detail, the first stages of the main quest are uniquely different, although following the same line. After that, your path is clear, capture back villages, burn them or plague them. In the end, its one, epic conclusion, fight either the Dark Lord Malekith along with the Blackguards, or Pheonix King Phumbar, along with the Shining guard. Every action you take defines Ulthuan's fate... wether you destroy it, defend it or plague it.

This was long ago a big battleground for the High Elves and Dark Elves. Which ever side, who dares enters its tombs and caves, must at all costs retrieve the weapons, armor and power, to turn the tide of battle
The Empire Aids The High Elves:
The High Elves get Aid from the Empire, led by Emperor Karl Franz

Maybe some more modellers/Texturers
A person with a knowledge of heightmap and could copy a map of Ulthuan

Some who collects High Elf, Dark Elf or Skaven for refrences
A CS worker for building places/adding tree's and grass
An experienced Scripter
An experienced Quest creator/Advanced Dialouge
Voice Acting
Story developers

Jobs:
Anyone who could texture a High Elf, Dark elf and skaven banner for me would be awesome
Hehe, Help with heightmap :)
A possible move on to creating High Elf equipment aka clothing, weapons/armor
Resource finding (ill get onto this one unless anyone else will go for it too, dont mind)

News:
Skaven items complete and race almost complete, just need a modeller the face

Just giving you an update on my progress so far on those textures for the Skaven race. I've gotten all the basic stuff done, just tweaking the face a bit right now, then I'll try add some scar for the age textures. Then I'm going to make a few different colours along with the plagued one. Any requests for fur colours?

Overall it's looking pretty good in my opinion. It doesn't look exactly like Skaven but it looks like it would certainly fit into the game well. I've kept some of the scales from the argonian texture I was using as a template; mainly in placed like the palms and bottom of the feet. I haven't look at in game yet but I've looked t it in the cs and it's looking good. Whenever I'm done I'll throw up onto the resource file on Nexus.

Brilliant! it sure would fit in the game well!

If you havent noticed already, there is a Skaven race mod on TesNEXUS, but its a rat head with a goblin skeleton. Dont know if this sounds cocky but hey id guess ours would look better!

Update: heightmap for Ulthuan is tricky, any suggestions?

Coobster, would you mind to get away all the spelling mistakes :), its modeller not moddler :P

EDIT: im not a complete modeller i can mix models but i cant create new ones :)
Oh before i forget,please give me a clear concept if you dont mind ;)

Must i create all three of them?, they are pretty hard to make. So will need my time.
There are still some spelling mistakes like uglylyx should be uglyulyx and there are still some moddlers :P.

There was no reference for Skaven architecture. so the way they were i figured they used native styled houses.

Dont need to create them yet, just a reference for when we all get around to it :)

UPDATE

Ive heightmapped Ulthuan pretty well in my opinion, smooth landscape, LOD, no sharp hills, plenty of lakes. im pretty chuffed! now im just going to test it-in game to see the LOD so i can get my bearings
