Ultimate Edition Not Recognizing "Normal" Saves?

Hey guys,

I played through New Vegas when it first came out, and decided to wait for the inevitable Ultimate Edition to get all of the DLC collected on a disk for about the same price. I tried to play it for the first time, and it doesn't recognize any of my saved games from before. I booted up my normal copy, installed an update that was released for it since I last played, loaded up one of my old games, and saved it again to see if this support had been added in a later update or something. No luck.

From what I've read, most people are able to load their previous saved games with Ultimate Edition. Does anyone have any ideas? I'd rather jump right into the DLC instead of playing through everything again.

Thanks.

As far as I know you need to make sure that both versions are from the exact same region, i.e. New Vegas CAN is only compatible with Ultimate CAN but not with Ultimate US. If you imported one of the versions but not the other, chances are good that they are not compatible. Make an initial save with the Ultimate version and compare the info of the saves.
