I've built interiors before and played with all of the settings for it. As far as being incompetent, you need not worry about that. What I suggest you do tho, is try worrying about yourself and not if I am being incompetent with my mod.

I like to help the Morrowind mod collective get added to by a few less poorly-lit mods wherever I can. It encourages a greater amount of effort put into it by people. Glad to see you're not one of the people that needs help.

As far as you taking things literally is your fault not mine.

Indeed it is.

They look a bit...weird when compared to Morrowind's graphics, also why is there that huge purple blurry line in the floor? I assume thats just a error and it will be fixed?

Weird as in what? Unique? If your trying to give me a complement, then don't be afraid, I won't bite. ;)

As far as the issues with my reflective flooring is concerned, if you can come up with any ideas on how to fix for me, then I'll be more than happy to apply it to my mod. But if you can't, I completely understand. I know it might be too much for a modder of your statue to be able to know exactly what's wrong with my floors, to be able to come up with a solution to fixing it. :)

Thanks for noticing tho, I really appreciate you efforts! :)

I've watched this mod unfold for quite some time now and the fact that you're building everything in it from scratch is really impressive. I look forward to seeing how this will evolve to completion - thank you for sharing it with us as you work on it.

Um well yes they are rather unique and I love them about that but they just don't look right with Morrowind's graphics but then again they might look different in game. As for the floors I'd love to help but I don't really know anything about doing texture work or models.

Thank you Dana! :) I have been so excited with my mod that I am bursting with joy! Alot of my hunches on reflection mapping is working quite well except for the purple lines. Once fixed it should be ok. It might take awhile before this is finished because of RL getting in my way along with the sandman putting me out cold. lol This is just one interior, I have several to go. :)

That purple stuff does look strange. But seriously. your stuff is going to look out of place in morrowind. Not because its crappy, but becasue its too good.
you're gonna have to start doing this for all the things in morrowind hehe.

Edit: just a suggestion. when i saw that first picture of the i think "silver gem cabinet" i thought the corners were strange because it just fuses together. Maybe add like a metal plate? holding the corners together? The wood one looks absolutely amazing, as in real life it really does come together as it shows. I'm not a metal smith but just mentioning it looked "strange" to me.

It's actually a marble display cabnet. Also IIRC, marble is carved or can be carved so I think that it fits right in it's place. Not sure how the process is done, but can look it up to see if the process is done the same as wood. If not then I will add some hinges in it's place.

Thank you for your complement, in order for me to do all of MW this way I'd need another ExHDD! Lol

Edit: I might end up retexuring tile sets for a more vibrant MW. But if anyone is interested in any of the tile sets I showcase that are in this mod, they will be modder's resources after this mod is released.

:S i would of never guess it was marble. maybe its just the screenshot.
Most marble stands i have seen have a marble stand and either wood or metal container part.

what is ExHDD?

I think the white high lights look better. The gold doesn't look very goldish in my opinion.

Why because it's not bright? Remember these are blender screenies and the reflection that gives it this color is the black background. So whatever background that is there, that is what is being reflected at that time.

Based on those screens, I'd say go with the gold, but I might have a different opinion if/when I see the statue in an in-game screenshot, while the lighting is as it's intended to be.

Look, my lighting in-game is just fine. If I make it any darker like vanilla MW, it will clash the decor colors majorly. So what I have is just fine. This my vision, so when it comes out, please do me and everyone else a favor and don't download it.

You said those are Blender screenshots right? If so, then I imagine that the statue, whether it has gold or white trim, is going to look different when it's actually sitting inside the shop, isn't it? That's what I meant. When it's in-game, and exposed to lighting as it's intended to by you, not me.

Now that you have gotten that out of your system can we MOVE ON plz? I have tons to do, and not alot of free time in which I want to spend on getting this done.

I'm not harping on the lighting. I trust you when you say you know what you're doing. I'm just pointing out that the gold looks better to me right now, but in-game, it might end up being a different story, I might like how the white looks a lot more. Happens all the time.
