For heavy I would pick they EZ nade just cuz I enjoy underpowered grenade launchers. And Gerund for secondary power

For medium, as you can tell in my sig, the Mossington shotty with Barrett. Snipers are beast

For Light, the Galactic SMG cuz it looks like the UMP and the Belgo Machine Pistol

I think polls of this nature are pointless, we're only going to be able to answer this once we've used the weapons.

This is just preliminary stuff. Basically looking for what people like the best based on what they've seen and what little we know about their stats and how they work. Hence why the topic description says "...once and for now..." I'm sure we'll get a crap-ton of topics like this after the game is actually released. I for one think it will be interesting to compare the post and pre-game statistics.

I'm not interested in the heavy guns, shotguns, or SMGs, so I'll take pretty much any rifle or pistol and be perfectly happy with that. I'll have characters using other weapons just for variety or a particular role, but I've always been about small and precise.

I plan to use the Ritchie and Sea Eagle as pistols, plus one of the lighter faster models but I haven't seen enough to decide which, I like the Barrett over the Drog, and I just don't know which AR I'll end up with at this point because I haven't seen enough of them.

For me, this is difficult to answer yet. For instance, we don't know if there are in-game restrictions such as only Assault players can use the grenade launchers (hinted at by the Brink iPhone App, but I don't really think they have any information that we don't already know). And although I think I will lean toward heavier body types, that may change too once I have the opportunity to play the game. Really looking forward to next Tuesday!

There's no way they would make the grenade launchers only usable by Soldiers. Soldiers probably get the best use out of them though, since they appear to have skills that increase the blast radius and damage of explosives.

Where is my knife option?

I need to edit the poll anyway to add in the newly found proper names for some of the weapons. I'll add a knife option too, while I'm at it.

Could you point me in the direction of your source for the Tokmak, as well as the Barnett? I believe you, and have actually already made the changes to my thread, but just curious what the source is.

Belgo and Ritchie....if only they were more powerful, I'd use them all the time.

Oh, and I think you should put knife in with the sidearms. With the way it is now, pollers are either forced to pick knife, or...knife; since all fields need to be filled.
