Ultra HD skyrim map!

Dunno, could be a way to show land dropping off that isn't as significant as a canyon but it looks very awkward.

Yea it's generally cliffs in any kind of maps.

Do you think that the "X" (24 of them) can be too many to be Dwemer Ruins?

EDIT: ops, there were 23 Dwemer ruins in morrowind, lol...

I fear so. Besides Todd walked past an X and we saw nothing but standing stones at that point.

That x is too far from the lake to be the location of the standing stones.

Well I've considered that. But the map (roads) seem a bit off anyway. When Todd walks to Riverwood he's spending a good 30 seconds or more walking along the river before he arrives, according to the map that shouldn't happen.

Why not? From the looks of things, if he starts pretty close to the mouth of the river (onto the lake, that is), which appears to be so, it should be at LEAST 30 seconds to get down to Riverwood.

Well what I thought:

He starts roughly where the red line of the border crosses the path from Helgen to Riverwood. He walks north to riverwood. At the bends in the road on the hill he encounters the Standing Stones (hills directly south of Riverwood). He then continues down the same path, adjacent to the river, to Riverwood. Where he walks on a road next to the river for a good 30 seconds if not more and finally arrived in Riverwood.

Well the standing stones are right next to the river, so it can't be on the x. I'll show you what I think is the route for the demo. http://i767.photobucket.com/albums/xx316/randomguyface/skyrimroute.png

Hmmm yes that's quite possible. I just assumed mr. Howard stayed on the major roads until he arrived at Riverwood.

Or... He planned this all along and "leaked" the map for us to speculate about until we die! BLAST!

If we assume every standing stone "point" will have 3 standing stones, then there are WAY too many X's for it to be standing stones. I think they are dwemer ruins aswell.

Also I mean.. Some of these X's are pretty isolated, why the hell would the old nords place the standing stones in such far off places? Ruins seem more likely.

The only grouping of stones is likely the 3 archetypes. All others will be isolated. Dwemer ruins aren't special enough to warrant their own cryptic map markers.

Yes, IIRC, Todd indicated there are 13 locations for the Guardian Stones throughout the province.

Wtf is Ultra HD?

Ultra High Definition, considered around 4320p+ which some gaming rigs are at now (building one myself to support this and possible 1920x6480p 270-degree wrapped screen resolution).

It's probably spelled Ivarstead. No Sunguard in this game. Aivarstead is a incorrect translation.

Thanks, on an older map, Sunguard was in approximately the same area as Aivarstead (Ivarstead) is now.
