So whats the deal with Ulysses his eyes are all weird he wears a gas mask and is much older than I thought..are the gas mask and eye color an affect of the disaster at the divide on him or is he just born that way and doesn't want to get radiation poisoning and wears a mask.

Don't know...he looked younger and more healty in the old concept arts....he anctually looks kinda bad ass...someone who as suffered....a lot...looks like he's loking for answers more than you are...and yep his eyes are creepy....

Its speculated that perhaps he wears the mask to block out some of the radiation in the divide since it does give you +50 resistance. As for the eyes, its also believed that his exposure to radiation has over time caused his eyes to change and take on an "eery glow" effect.

I can't really think of any other reason why he's like that. I was expecting him to have the same appearance as he did in the concept: http://27.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lm72dmFtTg1qbnosso1_400.png Was a little disappointed in his final appearance in the DLC but hey its not like it ruins the DLC itself or anything. They still did a fantastic job on it.

Well at least he had dreads...
