Whenever i hit the start,load or new buttons on the main menu, the game crshes.

I have tried to uninstall skyrim and the mods to re-install them, and i still have this issue.

Is there a way to fix this?

Clean reinstall SKyrim. Do not add mods until you are sure the vanilla game works. That is you are able to start it, start a new game, and get through Helgen.

First do a standard uninstall. (Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Programs and Features-> Uninstall The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim)


Next, delete your skyrim folder under C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\


Then delete your Skyrim directory under Documents/ My Games (you can backup the saves folder first)


Then under C:\Users\[Your Username]\AppData\Local\ - Delete the Skyrim folder that is in it.

(You should enable to see the hidden files under windows to delete that folder.) HOW: (View - Options - Folder Options - View - Advanced Settings: Show hidden files, folders and drives)


You don't need to uninstall Steam. Then reinstall the game.

Now i am able to start a new game, but i am unable to move. is that problem due FNIS?

DId you follow the procedure? You should test the game vanillla with zero mods installed.
