Hello, I recently reinstalled oblivion after not playing for a while. I started it up, and i found that I couldn't change graphical settings VIA the launcher. When I first started the launcher, it said, "Unable to detect your hardware settings, defaulting to medium graphics." or something like that. When I click on options, the graphical changers, low, medium, high, and very high, are all missing. So, I went into game to see what the graphics were like. Wholla! Medium graphics.
So, the main issue here is that I can't change the graphic settings! Also, my specs let me play on very high, so it's not a hardware issue.

Windows 7 x64 ultimate edition

Also, I just updated my ATI drivers to see if doing that would fix the problem, and it did not.
