I start the game, make sure the Pip boy app is set to ON then save and restart the game. When I look at the Settings, the Pipboy app connect has been reset to OFF. I can't seem to make it stay on. Any suggestions?

Might be a firewll issues? Tried to make changes in Windows firewall but it's greyed out and not sure what to do about TrendMicro.

It sounds like your ini file has been changed to read-only.

I had used the Fallout4ConfigTool on one of my computers to try to force 1280x1024 and one of the options was to mark the ini file ready-only. Once I did that I could not change the setting for the mobile app. I would turn it on and then when I restarted the game it was off again.

Once I put the ini file back to writable the setting would stick.
