Unable to connect to Servers PS3

hey guys im from pc land and i posted this recently in our forums. I just wanted to know if you guys wanted to throw in your two cents into this. i am considering in contacting consumer watchdogs groups in response to game industries lack of providing a viable game that we had already payed for.

I remember when the pc gamers where taken care of back in the day. Mohaa, Cod1 and when newer versions came out. the developers made sure our servers worked. I hate to say it crytek I wanted you to be the starting of the new beginning for pc gamers, but now I guess we have to wait for DICE to come save us.
Crytek if you are reading this. As a business major in college, I understand that you have an obligation to create a game that has the most profit to your company and the shareholders. However, you are forgetting that us, the pc gamers, are the most hardcoe out of all of the gamers out there. Even DICE admitted this. I am disappointed that the pc gaming community has yet again been forgotten by the industry.
It is most entertaining that you treat us, the costumer, who has bought the game at full price, an experience that not only is sub par to what we have payed for, inadvanced (I might add), but also a seemingly sluggish response to our problems.
If any admin in this forum would love to reply this, I would be delighted.
sincerely,
an angry college student who needs this game to blow off some steam.

The server is not region based which causes LAG. It's also not dedicated. I don't count Migrating Hosts, which always seem to be poor with crappy internet connection, or Gamespy.

A patch can include Region lock, fix up the servers, etc... Though the game isn't even a week old so not much you can expect. No game is perfect on release.

As a former PC gamer I guess I miss servers being run dedicated. Or how AA - BF2 is. Server Hosts. Consoles don't have this unless It's BATTLEFIELD, KILLZONE, MAG or SOCOM.

As for the whole 'PC gamers are the true hardcoe gamers? That sorta angered me. hardcoe in a sense of having a super computer? Or hardcoe as in "Oh, I game on PC! I'm Elite. I wipe my tushi with consoles"

Hahaha, I doubt it's that, though, I wouldn't consider yourself the hardcoe gamers out of all gamers. As a Former PC gamer I actually was jealous of console gamers being able to comfortably play games on the couch, on their bed, lay down, etc... A complete comfort zone.

As I return to PC gaming land, while being a console gamer at heart I'm trying to figure a way to be as comfortable as I can be when gaming on PC as I am with console gaming. Also would need to use my PS3 controller... somehow.

ANYWAYS!!! Back to the actual topic. I went of the course...

I agree that most of the studios, especially in the FPS genre are getting lazy. As DICE has mentioned before. -And as a franchise that started ON PC you'd think the PC Ver. would be the leading Ver. getting a whole lot more then consoles.

It's like BATTLEFIELD 3 on consoles supporting 64 players, huge maps, Heli's, jets, dedicated server hosting, Party System and being close to PC Ver. on a graphical level. Now THAT is like a huge smack to the face. BATTLEFIELD is a PC franchise, as Crysis is. Them coming to consoles is just a bonus. A bonus I'm grateful in every way. But they can't lose sight of the games birth place, it's roots.

Much like Metal Gear Solid: Rising. Metal Gear Solid was born on PlayStation. Solid Snake/Old Snake represents the PlayStation... IT IS PlayStation. For Rising going Multiplatform is great for those who don't have a PS3 to experience such an Iconic Franchise. But for the PS3 Ver. to be on equal level, or less then X360 or the PC Ver. is a smack to the face.

And I will agree that this 'keeping us in the dark' without any feedback from the Dev's or the gamesas Team is also a smack to the face.

I'm hoping this game will receive updates/patches/DLC and further support, rather then abandoning Crysis 2, and us in the process. On ALL Platforms.

It's like you guys with the whole DX11 thing.
