I recently started playing fallout 1 and so far I am really enjoying it. I am pretty far into the game now and must destroy the mutant army at Mariposa military base, Problem is, I can't enter. I got to the entrance gun blazing mowing down every mutant I see with my trusty plasma rifle only to be stopped by the door. I am just not able to open it, I tried to hack it but it didn't work. I also tried lockpicking but it said I need a device I can't find. I also tried luring away the mutant with the radio but the mutants were still there when I reentered the area. I have been screwing around for an hour now and I just can't figure out what to do. If somebody could get me on the right track again I would be grateful.
