You mean the vault door..? They give you a quest or you have to convince them to let you in.

You have to give the overseer the fusion cores man!! You dont get to say "yea I give you three cores" only to run inside without paying. Go pay the overseer!

you going the wrong way, walk threw the rows of white light things then go to the elevator

You cannot enter the lift because it only opens from the the other side, it is used in the quest associated with the vault.

You have to go through the row of white scanner things and the guy will comment on you radiation level, the lift you can use is this way as well.

I did that and entered the vault. But I can't enter the sliding door.-.
