I have a question just rebuilt my bash patch and started the game . The background music plays, but now there is no sound of any other like voices or birds or any water moving when in it?

What went wrong ? Did I turn Off something Please help Thanks Also I have a sound card and checked it it is fine don't know if this will help any

2 things you can check, in game menu, the voices volume's not turned itself down, and check you speaker settings, if its set to 2 speakers and you have 5, you lose all the voice sounds

With Win7 it was definetly the speaker setting in control panel When I had this problem also.
