Post » Fri Mar 11, 2016 12:47 pm

So the latest nvidia driver royally [censored] my PC, so I had to to a system refresh. After DL'ing all the basics and getting mod manager up and running again, getting steam all fine and happy, (it wasn't running and had to repair itself bc of the system refresh)

So..I have ENB realvision and all associated recommended mods installed. I updated NMM and they are all there and it says they are installed, but when I launch Skyrim it instantly crashes, can't even get to the skyrim launcher.

it gives me this error:

Have you deleted the ini's from Documents/My Games/Skyrim? If not, do so and let the game create new ones on startup.

Did that, same issue. So I uninstalled Skyrim and reinstalled. Didn't fix it either. Where are my save files for my character saved so I can save it and just do a fresh install and reinstall mods?

Save games are normally located here: C:\Users\[USERNAME]\Documents\My Games\Skyrim\Saves

Can't help you with your crashing issues, sorry.

Let me ask you. Did you install Skyrim before you made the system restore point in Windows?

If you did had Skyrim installed when you used the system restore point then your problem is more likely Steam related and not Windows, but I could be wrong.

However, if you didn't had Skyrim installed when creating the system restore point you used then why blame Nvidia for the mess of you now have with Skyrim after you used the system restore point in Windows.
