Unable to marry Farkas? : V

'Ive done all the companion quests, im the leader of the companions, and i cured farkas from being a werewolf, but he wont give me the option to marry him. I have the amulet of mara, i got it from the 'book of love' quest that you get in riften, but whenever i tallk to him WITH the amulet on the marry option wont come up, is this a bug?
