Unable to move spouse and children into Windstad Manor

According to the UESP, it is not necessary to build the Bedrooms addition on the west wing of your home if you have included the two chests and two single beds in the main hall. However, after building the Windstad Manor w/ the double bed, the two chests and two single beds in the main hall, there is not an option where I can move my family into Windstad Manor. I also tried the "divorce console command"* as well as the http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/47259/?, I still cannot bring a children into Windstad Manor.

*Here is the "divorce console command":

  • removefac 51596
  • player.removefac C6472
  • resetquest 74793
  • resetquest 21382
  • setstage 74793 10

It seems that things got worse when I remarry him, there is no option of moving him into any of my houses.

You do not need the bedroom wing in order to have a family move there. However you should fully furnish the upstairs. Make sure you built the master bed, chests and cabinets and also did the same for the room with the two beds. make sure the dressers and chests/end tables are all built in that room as well. This should do the trick.

Okay, I that I have furnished everything in the upper main hall. I also remarried Balimund using the "divorce console command" above. However, there is no option of moving him into any of my houses at all. Why?

I think because he already has a home and his forge. I doubt he leaves that... but who knows. I say if you can uninstall the mods your trying to solve this with and load up a save before this happened.
