The game will only run for me in Windowed version. If I set it to full I can hear the music, but get no video. I have already updated my video drivers to the latest, and have tried different resolutions.
Using 285 GTX.
OS: Windows 7 64-bit

I was playing in fullscreen and in the process of depriving a citizen of his goods when the game seemed to exit to windows. I could still hear the music but attempting to tab back into the game didn't do anything, though Task Manager showed it was still running.

Ideas?

Having the same problem, can hear the music and cursor moving in fullscreen, but no video. working fine in windowed mode, but the eyestrain is not so fun. I put the diag up after work tonight.

Okay... so I am having the exact same issue. The link above shows a picture of my problem.

The ONLY fullscreen mode to work is 1152x648 or something like that. ALL other resolutions at full screen mode produce the same black screen.

How frustrating this is... ESPECIALLY after FO3 had zero issues on my same system.

Also, performance was pretty good, but still a little shoddy in the FPS at some random points. Most of the time it's smooth as silk, but looking at certain areas or objects makes the FPS drop noticeably. My system should run this silky smooth no problem.

I hope they fix this soon. I'm not so sure I will trust their products in the future. Even FO3 was full of bugs, but at least it played for me.
