I'm rather annoyed to say the least at the moment. This morning I was browsing through games on Steam and came across Sacrifice, it looked intriguing so I paid the £3.50 for the download. I was a huge fan of decent way back when so was eagerly looking forward to playing Sacrifice, regardless of its age. HOWEVER, upon trying to load it, it wont even start! I've browsed many forums that all basically say the same thing, "newer" Nvidia cards and Gforce gfx drivers wont run the game!! Personally I'm running Windows 7 64bit with a Gforce GT630 (not really an impressive gaming card) but certainly more than was required back in 2000 when this was released...
I've tried downloading a program called Nvidia Inspector which allows you to customize some of the technical bits, and followed several walkthroughs step by step to change some values here and there to get it to work, but these posts were over a year old, I haven't found ANYTHING recent.
I'm hoping a) Someone will be able to help me get this game running somehow, or b) explain to me how a company can still be selling something that isn't supported by current PC specs?
