UNAR - Combat Armour Pack

+ Released 2010-09-26, http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=10375 +

The UNAR Combat Armour Pack uses the winterised combat armour and helmet, from Operation Anchorage, and UNAR's heavy armour mesh to add 12 new combat armours plus 6 masked helmets. All the vanilla combat armour skins and UNAR's Shellshocked skin is applied to the new meshes, with new textures made to match as necessary.
The pack is independent of the main UNAR pack, and does not conflict with it. Some files are duplicated to make the pack complete, and FOMM will warn about this. Overwrite the old files.

The one issue I know about is more an issue with the main UNAR. I updated the heavy armour mesh, so until I also update UNAR the unique Talon armour from UNAR will have incomplete retexturing. It's purely cosmetic however.

Requires Operation Anchorage.

+ Hints +
Spoiler
  • Faction armours can be found where they operate.
  • Tulip in Underworld has a better than average stock of some outfits.
  • Two of Reilly's rangers died before the player meets her, she mentions some missions on her terminal.
  • All vendors with armour have a small chance of stocking the new types.
  • All outfits can be had without killing good characters.

Description
===========
Adds new Combat Armour variants to vendors and NPCs.

Location
========
All around the wasteland.

Details
=======
This mod applies the combat armour variant textures (vanilla and UNAR-added) to the sleeved combat armour and masked helmet from Anchorage, and the heavy armour from UNAR.

Some NPCs are given the new variants, some are found on corpses, and all can be found on vendors (with a little luck)

Files are included for compatibility with both unmodded "Vanilla" Fallout 3, and for those using FO3 Wanderers Edition.

Pre-existing NPCs are modified via script in a conflict-avoiding way.

Install
=======
This mod is distributed as a FOMOD ready archive, and the RECOMMENDED way to install it is to use the Fallout Mod Manager (FOMM):

1. Open FOMM.
2. Select Package Manager.
3. Select Add FOMod.
4. Open the mod archive file.
5. Find the created mod in the list and activate it.

Note that load order is automatically adjusted.

To uninstall using FOMM:

1. Open FOMM
2. Select the Package Manager
3. Find the mod in the list and deactivate it.
(4. optional: Right-click the mod and select Delete to remove completely from hard drive)

The mod can be installed by extracting it into the Fallout 3 data folder. No instructions will be provided by me on how to do this.

Incompatibility
===============
No incompatabilities known. Retexturing mods may make the sleeved armour have mismatched parts. The heavy armour will become retextured properly.

Known Issues or Bugs
====================
No bugs are known at this time.
