Unarmed Khajiit assassin?

Post » Sun Feb 09, 2014 12:37 pm

Has anyone tried something like this and how well does it work? I'm thinking of going barefoot and barehanded with this one, relying on his claws to kill but I'm not sure how effective it will be unless I max enchanting and use the fortify unarmed damage enchantment. I've tried dual daggers but I'm not really a fan and think using claws is much more interesting.

Does the Ring of the Beast work when not in vamp lord form if the player isn't a vampire? I was thinking of temporarily going vamp until I get the ring then cure myself as I loathe what vampirism does to my appearance and I finally made a Khajiit that I like the look of.

Any tips or advice from an unarmed assassin is appreciated.

play on adept or lower.

watch your stamina.

don't be afraid to run. Cats like milk so they shouldn't be offended if they are called a milk drinker.

use alchemy so you can get a bit of an enchantment boost.

You'll need heavy gauntlets. There's a video on YouTube about sneaky Unarmed Khajiits somewhere in tribute to Robbaz. :D

ha yea no worries about the milk drinker thing with this one, he's anything but honorable and will gladly sip a jug of milk while standing over someones corpse ;)

sigh I know I have to do what I despise to make that enchantment more powerful....speaking of, any tips for quickly grinding alchemy and enchanting? Enchanting shouldn't be too hard but alchemy seems a pain to max.

ha that's an insult to the badass unarmed viking. I was thinking about the heavy gauntlet thing but I want his claws to be free so that limits his choices...I'll probably try out the spiky Falmer gauntlets as it may suit him.

I played a cat on my first playthrough, and always thought that the 'milk drinker' insults were race-specific. :P

I was quite disappointed to find out they weren't.

Go to Riften and scratch the [censored] out of the orc in the Ratway. He will drop some gloves that boost your unarmed attacks. Then disenchant your gloves and enchant them into some heavy gauntlets.

Enchant a ring with the gloves of the pugilist enchantment (That way you are really unarmed).

And if you want, you could use the resto loop to make the enchantment a bit stronger.

I do basically the same thing, and it works very well for me.

DON"T CALL KHAJIITS CATS. They find it about as offensive as the n-word.

Alchemy: Just to name some

Spoiler

salmon roe + nordic barnacle + salt pile = highest priced potion in the game

Giant's Toe + Hanging Moss + Bear Claw = another very high priced potion in the game

Boar's Tusk + Chaurus Egg + Hanging Moss = same as above

Salt Pile + Deathbell + Dwarven Oil/Taproot = Not as high, but still very good in price

Luna Moth + Vampire Dust + Chaurus Egg = same as above

Read the http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Alchemy#Skill_Books once you hit 93 and see the alchemists in Morthal and Dawnstar (the latter is a pain as she tends to bug a lot when it comes to store hours) for quests

Enchanting:

Spoiler
Disenchant all strong enchanted items (as high as possible) can get you around 60 with The Mage Standing Stone and Sleep

Banish + Iron Daggers + soul gem (usually make around 150 iron daggers/soul gems

Read the http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Enchanting#Skill_Books once you hit 95

Every time a bandit says you'll make a fine rug,I immediately use a soul trap on them,no matter what.I then enchant my boots,so I can walk on their souls for all eternity. :bunny:

What clothes or armor do you plan to role with? Hide Bracers are nice to enchant.

Daedric gloves would be best to wear due to the fact that they have mini wolverine spikes on them
