Unarmed or Melee

Both.
But it drives me nuts when unarmed weapons are as big as a cannon that just look plain stupid to wear.
Just give me normal sized brass knuckles or a claw. I'll even take gloves or bare hands.

Im sorry but the unarmed weapons in NV were too cool to pass up. I hope we can get ones just as cool now.

I prefer a baseball bat named Lucille. Now if the game has someone named Glen, I'm in heaven.

If they have the same level of variety in unarmed that was in New Vegas it would actually be relatively fun. With that being said, there is no perk for unarmed weapon mods, I hope this falls under Blacksmith as melee weapon mods. Does anyone know?

One of my characters will be all about melee. He'll be my Negan type character.

The thought of running around without a gun hasn't even crossed my mind, that would be insane!

But thinking about it, a pistol plus cqc second character sounds appealing. Will we be able to have multiple character saves, I assume we will?

With the new bash mechanic, melee might actually be used in that sense, but otherwise I can't imagine (outside of specific scenarios or reeeeeeaaallly early on) many people using melee or unarmed. Unless that is going to be your thing, but it always seemed like a crappy way to play. Even with the sneak bonuses, once you are out in the Wasteland it is all but useless and in buildings or close spaces where it might be more viable, it seems like a beast to actually sneak up on someone. And when you do, you usually do a pitiful amount of damage so you've now put yourself in a disadvantageous position next to a baddie who's primary mode of attack is almost certainly melee oriented and who will wreck you with ease. Much better off just plinking em from down the hall.

I will say that I like the idea of investing in unarmed though, because I like the idea of being a guy who can brawl if he has too, but it wouldn't be my weapon of choice. Here's hoping they have some kind of hand to hand combat arena or something. Would provide a clear incentive to invest in unarmed!
