An Unbiased Civil War Questionnaire

Post » Sun Sep 01, 2013 12:13 pm

Be respectful and remember, not everyone might have the same opinion. Although I've personally found myself aligned with one side a lot more than the other with most of my characters, I can see that both sides have good arguments to them and that, depending on what the person believes, they might find one more appealing than the other.

We already have one going:

http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1472105-to-join-a-side-or-not-to-join-a-side/

And the last four questions are unnecessary.

Holy crap, I was first? This was my first visit to the forums in like nine months give or take. Kinda buggered off after Dragonborn. Nice to see something different in civil war discussions.

I think people were just rattled that their beliefs were so shaken. And he made a total of 1 thread that was accused of being biased.

More than one. And they were all pretty much complete, biased crap. Everyone in the world has a bias though, there is no one that is truly unbiased. However, his threads were SO biased to the point that he made anyone with a differing opinion seem like the devil.

I like this Poll alot :)

it gives off the "Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, so don't hate" vibe that I enjoy (probably cause I'm Canadian lol)

Very good poll. And yes, these civil war debates are completely pointless now. They're more dead than the dead Falmer I've been beating for months now, and that's saying something.

Makes you wish TES VI comes sooner so these never ending civil war debates die out.

*couple years later* "TES VI: Bosmer and Khajiit dislike each other for reasons and you have to pick a side!"

If that were to happen, I think I would side with the Khajiit. Bosmer are just too creepy for me.

I wholeheartedly agree. I've seen more threads addressing the Civil War turn into flame wars than I've seen Dragur. And that's saying something. Heck, I can even go ahead and say that the CW Flame War was more intense than the actual CW itself...

I would probably side with the Khajiit as well at first glance...

But the Bosmer would likely Utilize Imga in their Armies.. and that would be pretty cool...

Which is pretty sad if you think about it. CW could have been much better, Damn you marketing guys.

it could have..

I heard a rumor it was originally meant to be more Dynamic.. the opposing side would capture your forts and cities, each Hold you captured would have an assault on the Capital, you would randomly be called to defend a Holds capital from attack, etc...

But from what I heard, they ran into some kind of Technical issue and had to cut it...

Would have been a cool way to do it though...

That second biased thread btw was agreed upon not to be biased. For the record.

Also, I don't know if we're allowed to discuss other people's threads or a thread topic itself and not the actual discussions in them? If not, my bad, moderators.
