I'll download it, thanks for all hard work! I just hope that this is compatible with FCOM and conflicts with Elder Council aren't that big.

Fcom should be not that problem...the fort Akatosh esp should be compatible with most of other mods...the Cyroddil addon could probably conflict but is optional

Compatibility Info Dc The Elder Council - Fort Akatosh Redux - Guards of Cyrodiil Redux I posted this on Dragon Caption forums as well

1. Guards of Cyrodiil Redux should be fully compatible with DC TEC if played as a stand alone mod.

2. Fort Akatosh Redux will conflict with the Tec legion features

both mods are using the vanilla imperial legion faction in different ways..so this will not work together...what you can do is playing DC Tec without joining the legion...the mainplot, tax quests, palace, Arenthia etc etc should work fine together with FAR....or you join the Tec legion and do not play the FAR legion quests ( join the regiments)...you will be able to enter a lot ( of course not all) of the areas of the fort and play the Imperial Cult and North East Trading Company quests.

During creating and testing a Visible when Distant file for Guards of Cyrodiil I noticed that the seperately uploaded Landscape Lod files did not work properly. All files have been removed and will be replaced by new created ones. I highly recommend to redownload and reinstall your needed files..
The first 8 Lod files have been uploaded today ....the rest will come tomorrow...

Fort Akatosh Redux has been updated to V.1.1

Changelog V.1.1:

- changed the weight of the Alchemy Barrels used for the "join the imperial cult" quest

- all Alchemy Barrels will be removed now properly from the players inventory after completing the quest


only the esp has been updated..the main file will be replaced as soon as the uploads will work again for me on Nexus...if you dl FAR for the first time you can use as well the filefront mirror ( FAR 1.1 complete all files in one dl)

Might want to be aware that perhaps not all LOD files that were recently updated were packaged correctly.

At least not the FAR+all three UL version. It was missing the Meshes folder and just had a Landscape folder.

Not really an issue as most will have to install that themselves. for BAIN/OBMM might be easy to miss.

Possibly consider package in uniform manner.

eventually getting to test this out. More to come.

hey @ all

just to let you know ...

Fort Akatosh Redux is probably not compatible with V.O.I.L.A. which is wip again. Both mods are making ( beside other things) non imperial npc's fully functionable as guards, using edited vanilla sound files...V.O.I.L.A adds as well new guard talk and special guard greetings for the different races ....FAR makes instead of VOILA all races ( as well Argonians and Kajiit) and as well female npc's( all races as well) functionable (voiced).
As both are editing some of the same vanilla quests/topics this will probably conflict. If anyone has tested it together..would be god to know how it works...

I've been playing this mod for a while and finished just first quest. You have really done some good work, this makes Imperial Legion feel much more alive! However, I would like to know is there anymore quests after completing Watchtower -quest or will more come out later? If there is, could you please give me a hint what I have to do in order to start them? :P Thanks for this mod.

More will be released in the future. The entire plan is to make you able to succesfully complete a series of quests and gain in rank .. all ranks are already included in the masterfile. The same goes for the other two factions in the module. The original plan was eventually gain in rank till General. But of course if time is on Onra's side - perhaps more.

hey and thx for the nice comment

there are two more small quests to join the Imperial Cult and the North East Empire Company....especially the Imperial Cult might be useful ..as a member of the imperial cult you can use the alchemy lab with all his features....

more quests for all 3 factions will come regulary ..as well I am currently writing the story for a big main plot and working on some new locations and addons...also the legion faction will be linked with the main quest line...

until the next update ( probably end of january) use the fort for nice rollplaying or play the quests of our other mod Guards of Cyrodiil Redux ( will be updated and avaible again the next days)

I really hope that I will get the last voices this weekend so that I can update FAR completely to version 1.2. The Tamriel Resource Pack has been updated as well and will also be uploaded within the next days.

Although the main files of Fort Akatosh are currently available. I'm re-uploading the required Tamriel Resource Pack at this moment. The Elder Scrolls Nexus is acting funny, so i will re-create mirrors first.

Quite many fixes have been applied to the master file and updating it should be done without special actions required. There were a few problems inside the Meshes BSA file as well. So this will be updated as well.

For the people who already downloaded the Meshes BSA version 1.0 - there will be a very small patch available to update to 1.3.1

Mirrors for the Tamriel Resource Pack are uploaded once more with the necessary files to two mirror sites. These are listed in the mirror tab of The Elder Scrolls Nexus as well.

Fort Akatosh Redux will get an update as well (probably this week-end). The new master file will be a requirement.

I've also switched from fileplanet to http://www.filefront.com/user/firespark2010

The textures BSA is still version 1.3 which is the largest of the main four files and does not need to be downloaded again.

I just tried to test the mod wich im really eager for to play :o but Oblivion crashes everytime i select the esp. file :o :(

Did you read the Requirements section? You probably either haven't installed Cobl, or haven't installed the Tamriel Resource Pack. The mod is dependent on these, and won't work without them.

Fort Akatosh has been completely updated to version 1.2 including a lot of small fixes and cleanings.

Regarding to Vorians post about UL Blackwood...I have cleaned as well all not needed pathgrid edits conflicting with UL Blackwood in the FAR esp...so both can played together with any load order now...credits to Vorians for spotting this and saving us a patch :-)

Very important Fort Akatosh V.1.2 requires the updated TamRes esm 1.3.1 !!!!

For people which have dl and installed V.1.0 or 1.1 already
I have uploaded an esp V.1.2 only file and a small fix for the Fort Akatosh VWD pack.

The Compatibility patch for New Roads and bridges revised has been updated as well. I highly recommend to update the patch if used.

Note ! There are still some voices missing for two side characters...the "trading company agent" and the "stable man".I will update the voices bsa as soon as possible.

Found another potential conflict with FAR.

Again this is not to be taken as a patch request just information. When I say conflict I don't mean land tears (can't find any) what I mean is that either the marauders there or the guards there will fight with the black bow bandits inside. they are very close.

In the old version you had the southern most tower near the DLC Vile Lair mod (eh - who used that anyway).

Now it is right in front of the Black Bow Bandit fortress as added by http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=22678 (the updated version of Knights of the White Stallion - not sure if that link is the most up to date for the mod)

I've played most of the way through Feudal and will probably uninstall it soon, so that is the main reason for no patch request.

The house with dock and ship in the background is from the old mod http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=4490. Also right where the Black Bow Bandit hideout is located is where another mod adds another hideout and that is http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=22197. And just up the hill but also conflicting with the bandit hideouts is another old dungeon mod http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=OblivionMods.Detail&id=2453 I don't normally have those installed but was going to add one or the other in after Feudal was done, but maybe not now.

None of this is surprising (not meant as criticism) as both the coastal areas are just crammed with mod content.

I really searched long for the best places to place my watchtowers and avoided as well any landscape editing...so they are for example fully compatible with ALL UL mods without a patch....especially the blackmarsh tower was moved to avoid conflicts at the costal area....but as it seems without success...not very nice as it took me a long time to get the battle at the BM tower going properly...
probably I will move the whole tower over the blackmarsh border with the next update which will be a major one anyway...

Oops..sorry did not have alook on the provided pic...this is not the blackmarsh tower ..this is the Elsweyr Watch Tower ( was not included in the old version)...however this is bad as well since this tower will be part of the starting mainplot ( next update)...good thing... this one will not be too difficult to move... maybe more direction Elsweyr...

Oh yeah sorry was in topal bay assumed it was the BM tower.

Probably further south would be OK except for a path getting there - no mods I know of down there.

And yeah the other side of the bay can be just as crowded with mods - Kumiko mannor, A castle mod, Vile Lair, Midas, etc.
