Err, I don't have that mod installed,or downloaded. It's possible I might add NRB4. Can't say when it'll be done, though.

Well, I saw the pic of the Elven map of Cyrodiil combined with this one... That is PERFECT, because the only reason I am not using THIS map still is because I love the Elven map so much. The perfect thing to do would be to combine the Elven map version that INCLUDES Elseweyr (there is one out there) with this map and this would basically be the essential map for people to download now that onra's heightmap mods are gaining popularity. Are there any people that can get that done?

Even better if someone could redo the map of all of Tamriel in the Elven Map style... Well, I can dream, can't I? :P

That looks fantastic! If possible, would you be willing to release the .psd file as well, with all the separate layers, etc. to make it easy to modify? The way it's colored makes me think it would be a fantastic starting point to make a more stylized map like the Elven map :)

I am looking forward to this. It should fit well into my UL+BC+other aesthetics-redressed Oblivion.

Do you have Stirk loaded at all?

from that read me,. is just a thought a sorry if I'm way out here

If you use a mod that replaces the worldmap, Stirk's map will overwrite it.
Outlined below are the steps necesary to prevent this from happening.
NOTE: you WILL NOT be able to see Stirk on a regular worldmap.
1. Extract the files to a temporary location.
2. go to Textures/Menus/Wap/World/ and delete TR_StirkWorldMap.dds. do the same for the Menus50 and Menus80 folders.
3a. Go to your regular Oblivion folder and find Data\Textures\Menus\Wap\World. This directory should contain your custom world map, most likely named cyrodiil_resized.dds. Rightclick it and select 'Copy'. Rightclick somewhere else in this folder and select 'paste', this will bring up a file called 'Copy of cyrodiil_resized.dds'. change its name to TR_StirkWorldMap.dds.
3b. Repeat step 3 for the Menus50 and Menus80 folders.

I try it and it still does not worked. What weird that it reverted into the vanilla map.

Try these out and see if they spin your wheels

See them here

Get them here

http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=30875

@LordEversor

I had to make sure the esp file was at bottom of my load order,. if you use Wrye Bash highligh the esp and CTRL + down arrow after clicking on load oder colum to make sure thats the one yiur sorting by.
The down side to all this is that altho I have it working my icons are not remotly close to where tha need to be I use DarNified as my intrface so I got some figuring to do

I forget (gets that way at my age) who asked for the psd files but at 270 and 302 mg I didn't upload em on my Kiwi broardband you'd be my age and I'd be pushing daisies a so I cloured em,. it's a quick rush job and it's possible
my lack of skill shows but theyer not bad from way back a

opps BTW I did do any Morrowind recolouring as it was not bad,.. but after you guys send me the money I need to buy a new clone tool (I ore mine out doing thse maps) I might have to match it to rest unlease a better artist greats somit much
nicer

enjoy or ignore lol

Move the ESP which comes with the map nearer the end of your load order.

I'm sorry I think I screwed up,. for me to make those files work with that esp I had to resize the Cyrodil area to the same size as the original are in the texture and them resize and move Summserset Isle to the same place in in original testure or edit the esp which
I have no clue how to dao and I remember there was awarning not to edit that as it was hell on broom stick to get right. So if you get the land mass's matching the icons sem to be in right place,.. my bad, again many humble sorrys it's my first shot at this

Yes, I already have it last in the load order ever since I first installed it. I alway read the readme before installing the mod. I don't know what I did to cuase the map to disappeared. What weird is that I can see the icon for Firstmond and I can fast travel to it but I can't see the map it self. Before I installed the mod, I have the color map omod but deleteing it should take care of it, right?

Kiwi Hawk: THAT is what I am talking about. The whole Tamriel (specifically your pic #2) looks pretty damn amazing. Now it's a question of someone creating an ESP to go with it so that it can be in game...

I'm working on cleaning it up a bit,.. but I did make the scale out a bit so if you scale cyrodil to the same size as in game map and use iggy's esp it not to bad I think

Huh? An esp that makes a map, you mean. Don't think there is one. You'd need OBSE in order to get it to work,I think. I use TES4Qlod to create bmp-maps for the mods I use, then do the Photoshop magic. It involves using guides, calculating the proper size of external cells to match map-marker placement and such. I've found that resizng each exterior quad (32x32 exterior cells) from 1024x1024 pixels to 800x800 is the best choice. Which makes each exterior cell 24x24 pixels in size on the cyrodil_resized.dds file. There's a bit more to it than that, but let's not get too far off topic here.

Was just trying to resize and get the maps I made to work with you esp is all,. I got one looking close but it crops top of the map off to get it lined up with the original Cyrodil area and iff I use the world map I made the gane put icons in Skyrim and hammerfell.

I had to resize the Summerset Isle to match your from your map as the original was to small as well got it close tho

I tried ...but i guess the Scale thing is throwing me... I tried with a Larger Map....have one that is 3352 x 3352 ( cyrodiil_resized.dds ) Is a map I am Using from( TamrielWorldspaceCompleteWorldMap) comes with An ESP . Tried to Double the size of the Map Linked on this page to get the Sizes comparable So it wouldent throw off the Map markers but cant seem to get it to Line up right. . Figured it would need to match up with the ESP I have. ahhh well Guess i really need to just learn the CS but that thing never plays nice for me. Sorry if this continued off topic but We really do need a Complete Map for when we can Sail The Sea of Ghosts!!!!

I did some cleaning and resizing and theres a second file there now that seems to work well with the esp from the map download
It's as lardge as I could get it sadly the top of map is still cut off so now sail round top yet as game icons end up in Skyrim and hammerfell
if I use full map. I have no idea how to replot that and save it to an esp or how ever it's done

Jus had a thought and I'd like to say, sorry, it is\was not an intention to highjack the thread.

It just came as a progression on the Summerset Isle high maps that we would need a map to get there.

Sorry if anybody felt like thery were/are being highjacked

Well, Kiwi Hawk, your map is already great. We just basically need someone with the knowhow to resize and create a working ESP where things line up and everything is set. I don't really know if that's a lot of work or whatnot.

Well, I've uploaded my map to nexus. http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=30824
It inlcudes the OC Leyawiin reborn city layouts so for those who use that there's nothing to worry about. It's also fully compatible with onra's hitherto released heigthmaps and the Tamriel Landscapes Summerset esp thingy. I didn't make my own release thread as I feel the map has more relevance in a context with onra's heightmaps than on it's own. At least for now. Also, I don't have as much time these days for answering a bunch of questions from noobs who don't read the installation instructions on TESNexus.

Happy Easter!

Why the h*ll does the forum log me out when I type replies??!?!?!?

I made the map to suit the esp from this download and resized Summset Isle to suit the Island on iggy's map in that download,.. I would put that esp in the download but I haven't hear from iggy as to how he feels bout that
I have a final verson not far off up load
