Underappreciated Weapons Awards

Post » Thu Sep 01, 2011 9:32 pm

Do you get tired of hauling an incinerator around, just so next door think you're a REAL man?
Do you wish you could get away with using your simple lead pipe, without recieving scornful looks from your fellow wastelanders?

Well, this is the thread for you, my friends. Forget the big guns and bombs - we're gathered here today to honour the little guys, the underdogs of the spontaneous massacre scene.

First I'd like to bring to everyone's attention, the highly underrated named cleaver, Chopper.
This is my primary weapon in this game. In my current playthrough I'm only level 14 with fairly pathetic melee skill and yet this rusty little critter has been the only thing I can count on to quickly and clean(ish)ly dismember a hostile visitor.

What are your less common weaponic preferences, friends?

Chopper? rofl I still carry that thing around when encountering Radscorpions of any size, great to dance around them with its high attack speed and while ED-E and Veronica go nuts at it :)

I agree with you about Chopper, such a nice weapon. I move on once I get The Liberator however.

The La Lounge Carabine don't see too much love for that weapon. I think it rocks! It reminds me a but of what the Lincoln Repeater/Backwater/Lever Action Rifles could have been if they had a scope...

Im here to honor the 9mm pistol. I like it a lot and its really not that bad, also the ammo for it is cheap and easy to find. The mods for the weapon just make it look awesome too.

Upgraded varmint rifle, my wasteland workhorse.

Leaving GS at level 3 with my trusty varmint rifle, with a scope and silencer I purchased from Chet. What a beast of a weapon at low levels, taking out Legionnaires while their buddies don't even notice.

War Club with mods.....

Tomahawks for sure, I got 50+ silent Tomahawk kills with my current character. Ninja Perk + Cowboy Perk + Tomahawks = very lethal.
