That would be so unbelieveably perfect. It'll never happen, but it's better than potato sack diapers.

Underwear and brassier if you want to feel sixy - bonus to appearance towards opposite six if you have the fame, negative towards guards or outside

Pyjamas like clothing to increase quality of sleep in an inhouse bed.
Longies/full cotton suits to reduce the cold penalties with a small bonus, heavy bonus for metal based armors.
Normal clothing or armor on top of that, for various purposes.
Cloaks and outer clothing on top of that, for heat and reduction of chill factor.

I just want to be able to roleplay my character.

Anyway, yes. I hope our characters have underwear - really classy underwear too. I hated that filthy loincloth of a rag male characters had in Oblivion. If there's no underwear, it should exist ingame as a pants item like Daggerfall had.

If the rating agency is going to flip out when they release the colors of skin with the editor, they might as well show [censored] in the game. It's the same rating either way.

Considering the mature rating system (or the name that censorship thingy has), I don't know if Bethesda can put nudity in Skyrim without losing a lot of sales. As I have nothing against Bethesda, nor the people who's parents won't buy the game depending on that damned rating, I really don't wan't nudity in vanilla Skyrim.

http://www.larp.com/midgard/braies.htm This is what Scandanavians and many other people wore up through the medieval period, and from what I've read, they developed basically into boxers by the 16th century. To those who find this insignificant; I would think one of the developers had to think about it at one point. I do agree these posts are made pointless because of the Modding community though. What would we do if we didn't have mods to make us boxers with hearts on them, and vast amounts of lingerie. We would suffer with brown, itchy diapers that need changing!

There will be no nakedness in Skyrim, period. The only option is for there to be underwear for men and both undergarments for women.

and WHAT were you thinking, full nudity would end up with Skyrim being an A ratting for advlts only.

well personally i wouldn't want underwear as default because it would add a touch of realism after all and im not afraid to see anyone's junk.

however, since i know beth would never willingly lose sales for something like that, they should atleast give options for what kind of underwear you wanna wear, because the oblivion's underwear was pathetic.

i can just wait for modders for the nudity realism then.

The only change I'd like would be for males to have more boxer-styled underwear, as opposed to Oblivion's loincloths (which looked like diapers) or Dragon Age: Origins' man-thongs.

That's a good idea, picking undies would be nice, since the nasty rag thing didn't fit a character with class in Oblivion.
