Undress an entire city

So this

along with this

are clear proofs that some abilities need to be nerfed at high levels. Some say that its the way its meant to be played, undressing an entire city without them even realizing?

just a balance patch

Armor is OP, it can protect you from damage,

not balanced,

remove armor.

Stop it. Relax.

Any skill at 100 is the ultimate in mortal achievement. Regardless of how easy you feel it was to achieve, this is what the skill of 100 represents.

You may notice, that almost.. not all.. but almost all skills at 100, make you a very dangerous fellow indeed.

Now breathe.

No. Stop. These perks make the game fun. Without them Skyrim won't be the same. If they patch it out, then I'm modding it back in. It can be a pain whenever there's a new update, the modification would most likely also need updating. Which means I would be forced to play offline. Also, when DLC comes out they might require the latest patch when it's released. It would just make life easier to not nerf the crap out of these fun skills/perks. Funny thing is, fighters can be overpowered, thieves can be overpowered, but I have yet to see an overpowered mage. (one that doesn't abuse enchanting to cast spells for free, which any enchanter can do.)

lol, being to do this is better than not being able to do this. I probably won't do it myself but seriously, it's a one player game...

What's with all the busy bodies calling for rebalancing of silly things like this? Let people do what they want. If you take this perk don't strip people and there is no problem. It does not affect you. Or don't take the perk... I personally would pass on the perk anyways because I feel there are better perks out there.

I think the real problem is when you are using items to improve a skill. A lot of these "omg sneak is OP" threads are with people with 100 sneak and all sneak gear. Probably the best way to balance this is to have an effective skill cap, so that no amount of gear can make you sneak better than 100 raw sneak.

Those are two of the most fun skills in the game. Of course they're "overpowered". Being a dragonborn is by its very nature "overpowered".

This is the kind of stuff games were made for(sort of).

Just imagine the time and effort it must have taken.

I for one am glad Bethesda has made a game with this sort of freedom.

I'm still not swayed by this. I actually have a certain expectation that the very mastery of a skill should feel like a complete mortal mastery of it.

If half these skills were nerfed, the forums would be on fire with "OMG I'm the greatest thief in the world but I get spotted by everyone! Thats ridiculous" or "WTF, I still fail pickpocket all the time at level 100, wheres the sense in that".

Walking is unbalanced because I can see a place on the screen, push W on the keyboard and then I will be there. They might as well maek it so you just look at the map and click on a place and then poof you are there lol

Pickpocketing "unbalanced"... pfft.

No.. That perk should be better.. It's glitched and doesn't allow you to undress un-killable people.. If anything it should be fixed...

Thanks for the links, that was hilarious.

I'm in the camp that such "mastery" should be rewarded. To some degree I still have to "grind at it" to get to level 100. If this is what SOME people want to do, then let them do it. This is not an MMO game where it would affect real players in the game universe.

this is the solution i posted in the other thread.

and i get the point of. you are the dovakhin of course you are op, the thing is that nobody in the city realized that he/she was naked , and that is not great skill, that is awful npc IA. The same with sneaking you are in front of them but they cant see you just because you are crouching, not matter how powerful you are its very unrealistic, there should be at least bonus cap, and if you wanna do the super unrealistic thing like undressing a entire city of blind people just make a mod

and for those who dont know, single player games are balanced or unbalanced too , New vegas got several balance patches

You are given a choice how you want to play the game and how to build your character. The developers have been saying this all along and that's exactly what Bethesda delivered.

So you can choose to be overpowered if you want. Or you can choose not to do those high level perks and dagger upgrades and be an average player.

I don't see the problem here.

Just want to say that nerfing, OP, unbalanced... it's an RPG. Who cares? It's not an MMO so these things cannot be effecting the way others might experience the game due to yours. It's about the story, and the adventure. As far as I'm concerned if you are that dissatisfied you need to trade the game in and buy Chessmaster2000.

Is this the WoW forum re-skinned?
FFS.

To OP, yes undress SKYRIM!

Op, sounds like you don't like playing games to have fun.

Just relax. This kind of a feature is unique, why the hell does it matter if some people choose to level pickpocketing and strip people? If you don't like it, don't do it. It's that simple.
It's not like the game forces you to level that skill and then forces you to take the mentioned perks and then forces you to proceed to strip a city. This is a game of choice and freedom.

Imo, it's hilarious. Why would you be against such fun?
