Stupid question, I know, but Im new in Fallout and I came from Oblivion. There was "F" for equip and unequip. It is "R" in Fallout, right? I remaped to F and it does equip and unequip with melee weapons but only equip and reload with guns, rifles, etc. It doesnt unequip.

It's quite a common question actually, all you have to do is hold the reload key (default is R for PC) and you should put it away

haha I remember when I didn't know how to do it. I spent so much time equipping and unequipping my weapon it wasn't funny.

and don't even get me started on the hot keys, I found out about them by pure accident

Thanks, I am level thirty and whenever i needed to unholster a weapon, I had to switch to melee, unequip that, then switch back to my gun. :tongue:
