It's been quite some time since I played Skyrim and I wanted to start again. One of the reasons I stopped originally was this shadow issue I'm having. Basically they're crazy. They put weird shadows over part of the screen like some giant square or something, they change position based on my camera angle. Shadows all over the place keep flickering on and off, sometimes in lines. It's unbearable to play. I tried many things back then and couldn't fix it. This wasn't happening at first and started after a couple of months of having the game. Mods have no effect. I've tried turning them all off.

Today I played, problem still there so I uninstalled the game and reinstalled it with the disk. Problem persists. So annoying. Anyone know how to stop this? Is there some way I can get rid of like every single scrap of info and do a really clean install? I don't care if I lose mods or progress anymore.
