Unforgivable laziness

I have never seen a console game plagued with the kind of issues I've encountered with this game and more specifically the add-on content. It is a testament to how much I love fallout that I haven't sworn off Bethesda forever. I put this thing down for some time assuming that these glitches would be worked out fairly quickly, but after playing for a bit in the third expansion (the one in the machine dome place) they have done a damned thing to remedy this issue in months. I will not be purchasing anything else by Bethesda until they fix these issues (you know, make it so I can finally play the game I bought), and admit they screwed the pooch on this one. But frankly I'm not holding my breath.

Welcome to the forums, Bethesda hates us PS3 players like we did something bad to them.

All I can recommend is if Old World Blues is unplayable then try reinstalling it, if that doesn't help then I don't know what to say.

Well I play on PS3 also and its anything but fine. It was a little buggy before the DLC content but bearable to a degree ( freeze every so often when i went to the gun traders or in the fighting pit , sometimes during combat freezes or in Vats but usually playable for half an hour to an hour before frozen) Then i decided to invest some more money in the dlc content and man was that a mistake after that all bets were off. My game got down to the frame rate of a commodore 64 trying to run skyrim and especially after patch 1.07 it became utterly unplayable after only 5 mins of it being on. So i follow these forums and others and deleted the main game data a couple of times tried there fixes and have been waiting paitently for a new patch which has yet to surface. Meanwhile I read the stories of others who have troubles and are ostracized by those who have no issues. They are told they are the minority and that its their fault somehow it cant be Bethesda or Obsidian and that we should just shut it and step in line.

Now i see they are doing the same ol money grab of a GOTY edition ( wheres the new patch for us hmmm?) which is probably going to be the same nonsense as fallout 3 GOTY was. Personally im tired of givin bethesda money and of seeing some people on the forums whether it be this one or others marginalize the players who do have problems. I'm happy some people can play the game bug free I can't argue that it isn't an awesome game and I would be happy to play it bug free as well but whether im 1 in a 100 or 1 in a 1000000 I'm still unable to do so. The only reason i decide to join this communtiy chat board was to finally put my 2 cents worth in like the rest of the disenfranchised players out there who feel as screwed as I am when playing this bug ridden disaster.

I seriousy hope Bethesda and Obsidian listen to us as some of us, myself included are swearing off Bethesda/ Obsidian Games all together. I refuse to give them my business anymore so I will miss Rage and skyrim because im tired of being pushed around and my money wasted on a game that refuses to work like it should for the supposed minority out there. As someone on this site basically said put your money where your mouth is and thats exactly what im doing until i get the game that I and the bug ridden players deserve. In any other business if you sell a faulty product whether it be 1 in a 100 or 1 in a 1000000 you are obligated to make it right for the consumer thats part of being in business. i do it when I have to replace the odd pack in a spa that might be faulty somehow. I might only have 1 out of 200 spas that might be crapped out before it begins but that doesnt mean i laugh and say you are SOL or temp fix it and have it break down again soon enough. I replace the damaged, I work at it and I make it right for the consumer because that is what everyone should expect when they put their money out there to support a product.

Sorry for the long reply and im sure I will get some smart ass replies or have other people tell me im wrong or any number of comments im sure but at least i put my voice out there and I encourage everyone who does have a problem to do the same otherwise we will remain this so called minority.

Ive incountered the primm glitch, apparently no one leaves the casino after shoosing a mayor, and nash refuses to leave the casino and sell you stuff. Its apparently due to patch, when patch is removed, it works fine, only theres the issues u got without the patch. Only 7 patches in the 1 and a half yrs its been out is lame. Games like fallout and elder scrolls need lots of patching! Only to be at 1.07 is rather pathetic. Skyrim on ps3 has lots of issues too.
