Unhappiness in Settlement

Post » Sun Nov 29, 2015 4:05 pm

Alright now I've been having lots of problems with my settlements. Firstly dead crops don't disappear and for some reason they keep dying so I'm guessing if this cycle continues the dead plants with make the game slower because it has to render them. Secondly now this has only happened in San.Hills but they were unhappy because there appartently wasn't enough beds, problem is there was double the number of beds there were people. How can they have a "bed problem" when there were double the amount of beds there were people. Thanks for reading and I hope that someone replies to this

Haven't had the bed issue.

But are you sure the crops are dead?

I though this was a bug until I realised you can't delete crops while they are assigned to a settler.

I had an issue like this until I saw during a raider attack on my village that they destroy the crops.....the crops look dead but in city building mode if you scroll over them they say in small print "damaged" and you have to have another seed of the same type to get a "repair crop" message to click on.

You can also assign a settler a bed, that was an issue I had in Ten. Bluff. So I eventually set each settler a bed individually.

I've checked I can't repair the crops and all settlers were assigned to beds by myself. Dunno why they say they have a problem

VERY helpful comment, thanks so much!

This game has such an incredible level of customization. I keep discovering new things (like what you just pointed out) and thinking to myself the reason I never thought of this is because so few games (none I can think of) come anywhere close to offering this sort of interactivity.

I hesitate to give all my settlers custom armor/clothing (even though you can do that too) as my clothier girl just suddenly showed up to work in this knockout new leather number complete with bare midriff and wrist wraps. I wouldn't be surprised if she ended up with this very unique looking outfit specifically because she was assigned to the clothier store.

Anyway, I am off to assign sleeping arrangements. :)
