Unholy Darkness issues

Post » Tue Jun 21, 2011 6:07 am

Okay so I had this mod a long time ago and even did the whole process to fix the eyes with the Raven elves and it worked. I tried doing it with a different custom race though and it didn't turn out so well. When I go to unpack the imperial eye files to the mesh/chararcters/imperial the imperial folder is not there.
I hope this makes sense....

Oh, so the author isn't doing that anymore?

If the mod has become full freeware (as in every last file), than yes, we should be permitted to discuss it again.

However, it would still be best to contact a moderator about discussion of this mod, as most people are still under the impression that it has been banned from these forums.

If you need the eye mesh for the vanilla character creation you can unpack it from the Oblivion bsa, into the correct file folders, which you can make yourself if they are not there by right clicking in the appropriate directory and adding a new file, and then edit your race in the CS. This will make it compatible with the vampire eyes, but incompatible with the race's current eye selection most likely. The reason the eyes bug out is because there are two different meshes for each eye with some custom races. I would advise just downloading a race pack that used one eye mesh. Xenius has some very nice characters that are quite popular, and the eye bug is non existant with them I believe. There are many others, but that one comes to mind.

And discussing this mod is a little "taboo" but all the previous issues that caused it to be band have since been resolved so far as I know. You would probably get better support on the main site however :)

Hope I answered your question.

Sort of, I havent had the best of luck with full body mods. So to get this working I have to upack everything from oblivion mesh file?

No you don't have to unpack everything. Just the eye mesh so far as I know, body mods shouldn't affect the eyes.
