I was just wondering if anyone else is having the same problem and might have a resolution to the problem. I'm running the minimum requirements for the game and still have major fps drops in the game. No, my PC isn't [censored]... I can run Skyrim on Ultra and it's fine. It's the fact that the launcher cannot identify my video card. It's an AMD Radeon HD 6800 series. If it could identify my card, I could play on better resolutions and perhaps not have major FPS drops in combat. It's really ruining the experience in the game play.

Fortunately, I can still play the game for now in terrible low settings. However, it's not as fun when your computer crashes in cities such as Boston. If it could identify my graphics card, I could enjoy at least most of the game until the patch it.

Also, someone said you could identify it manually. How do I do that?

I have the same problem using the 6870. Beyond frustrating.

I made both these videos for support because they didn't believe me. They refuse to admit that its a problem with the game or a driver. What I would like to know is why they won't just say yeah we are aware and working on it. Instead they just keep trouble shooting my computer. I've NEVER had any issues with this on any game including Skyrim and FO3+NV. Its funny I've even asked about non 1080p monitor support and they just flat ignored that question. I'm going to post the transcrips of my support ordeal to the interwebs once this thing is all over.
